Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need of support.

Responsibilities

- Assist residents with personal care tasks by following care plans

- Support residents with mobility and daily activities

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team

- Maintain accurate records of care provided

- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents

- Efficient record-keeping

Qualifications

- Previous experience in healthcare or home care is desirable

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal

- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues effectively

- Understanding of care plans and the importance of person-centred care

- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a caring team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
